Msgr. Lawrence Bronkiewicz, STD

Diocese of Bridgeport

Ordained in 1973, Msgr. Laurence R. Bronkiewicz, STD, has served as Pastor of Saint Mary Parrish, Ridgefield, for the past 15 years. He holds a doctorate in sacred theology with a specialization in spirituality from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, as well as a licentiate in theology with a specialization in ecclesiology from the same university.

Prior to coming to Ridgefield, Msgr. Bronkiewicz served the Diocese of Bridgeport for over 15 years in various capacities – as Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and Religious, Chancellor and Administrator of the Diocese between the departure of Cardinal Egan and the arrival of Archbishop Lori. He is also the current Chair of the Pastors’ Advisory Board or the Annual Catholic Appeal and a member of the Board of Foundations in Faith.
